ManyChess respects your privacy and collects as little data as possible. This policy explains which data we process, why, and what rights you have under the GDPR.
What data we process
To sign you in we store your email address and a username. When you play, we store your games, moves, rating and preferences (such as language and theme).
We also process limited technical data needed to run and secure the service, such as session information and error reports.
What we use it for
Only to make ManyChess work: signing you in, keeping games and leaderboards, preventing abuse and cheating, and improving the service. We never sell your data and do not use it for advertising profiles.
Sharing with third parties
We only share what is strictly necessary with processors that help us deliver the service: Cloudflare (network security and delivery), Sentry (error monitoring), and in the future Stripe (payments for an optional subscription). These parties process data solely on our behalf.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your data, and you can object to certain processing. You can have your account deleted.
