Delete your account
You can delete your ManyChess account yourself at any time, on the website and in the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
How to do it
- Sign in and open your profile.
- At the bottom, choose "Delete account".
- Type your username to confirm and choose "Delete permanently".
What we delete
Your email address, your profile and profile photo, your private messages and game chat, your team and club memberships, your training, puzzle and analysis data, your ratings and all your preferences.
What stays
Games you played, tournament results and your forum posts stay visible, but under an anonymous username such as deleted_3fa9c1. That way your opponents keep their game history and forum conversations stay readable. None of it can be linked to you anymore.
Plus membership
A running Plus subscription is cancelled right away. Nothing will be charged after that.
Sort this out first
Are you the only owner of a club or the only captain of a team with other players? Hand over that role first, otherwise the club or team is left without anyone to run it.
Not working?
Can you no longer sign in, or does deleting fail? Email [email protected] from your account's address and we will delete it for you.
